Gluten Free Winter Bowl



  • 3/4 cup millet groats

  • 1 apple

  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon

  • 1 tsp coconut oil

  • Honey or maple syrup to taste

  • Crushed nuts or almond flakes to sprinkle on top


Cook the millet groats as per cooking instructions on the pack. Peel and cut the apple into chunks. Heat the coconut oil in a pan and add the apple. Cover the pan and cook for about 10 minutes. Once the apple has softened add the cinnamon and stir it well so all the apple pieces are covered. 

Transfer the apple into a bowl and sprinkle with crushed nuts or almond flakes. Add honey or maple syrup to taste.
