Innocent Flapjacks

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe bananas

  • 1 apple cut into small chunks

  • 2 cups of oats

  • 1/2 cup Medjool dates cut into strips or small pieces

  • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut

  • 3/4 cup of mixed nuts, chopped

  • 1 flat teaspoon of ground cinnamon

  • 2 Tbsp flaxseeds

 

Method:

  • Warm up your oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Line a baking tray (20cm x 20cm) with a baking paper.

  • Mash the bananas with a fork then add the rest of ingredients and mix well. 

  • Transfer the mix into the baking tray and with your hand press it down so the mixture is sitting nice and tight together. Place it in the oven and bake for 30 minutes. 

  • Once ready (you want a nice golden colour) wait for it to cool down before cutting it.
