Apple and Cinnamon
Millet Groats

Ingredients:

  • 125g millet groats

  • Apple, peeled and chopped into cubes

  • 1 Tbsp Maple syrup

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 2 Tbsp pecans, chopped

  • 1 Tbsp Paleo granola

  • 1 Tbsp coconut oil

Method:

  • Add the millet groats to a pan with boiling water and boil as per cooking instructions on the pack.

  • Melt the coconut oil in a small saucepan on a medium heat.

  • Add the apple and cover. Braise for about 7 minutes and add the cinnamon and Maple syrup. Mix it well and cover for further 3 minutes.

  • Once all is cooked, place all the ingredients in a bowl and add the pecans and the granola.

  • Enjoy while still warm.
